Major drug bust in West Carroll Parish | Over 24 charges

Law enforcement officers have made another big drug bust in northeast Louisiana.
According to the West Carroll Parish Sheriff's Office, Kevin Lenard Thompson, also known as "Lil Man" was arrested after an investigation into his activities over the summer. Authorities say Thompson was dealing a large amount of illegal drugs out of Pioneer, Louisiana.
When officers raided the home at 139 First Street, they detained Thompson and another man, Leonard Bass.
At the home, investigators seized the following:
40.3 grams of Methamphetamine
10.8 grams of Powder Cocaine
9.2 grams of Crack-Cocaine
6.6 Ounces of Marijuana
$3,431 US Currency
4 handguns
1 AK-47 Assault Rifle
Digital Scales
2003 Pontiac Grand Am
2004 Ford Explorer
Kevin Thompson faces 24 felony charges including:
Distribution of Marijuana, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine
Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine
Felon in Possession of Firearms
Obstruction of Justice
Conspiracy and others.
His bond was set at $390,000.
Leonard Bass is facing charges involving:
Possession of Marijuana, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
Conspiracy, and others.
Bass’ bond was set at $275,000.
