MPD: Woman doing 60 mph slams into car on Jackson Street, tries to fight driver

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A woman is facing charges for an alleged hit and run that happened in Monroe just after midnight Monday.

Donna Anderson is accused of following a woman from Berstein Park Drive and intentionally slamming into the victim's car on Jackson Street while driving at least 60 miles per hour. The victim says that the suspect wove in and out of traffic and even crossed into the opposite lane multiple times during the pursuit.

According to her arrest report, once the victim's car stopped, Anderson then got out of her car and tried to open the victim's driver door to fight her. The suspect then left the scene.

She was later found and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center.
