Lafayette woman is official distributor for Trump's "Make America Great Again" gear

When a Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" hat, mug or t-shirt is ordered, it's shipped from a small warehouse in Louisiana.

Christl Mahfouz is the owner of Ace Specialties in downtown Lafayette. Her company is the only official distributor of Donald Trump's gear in the entire country.

Orders come in online by the dozen demanding four big trucks to be filled everyday. The company works exclusively with the U.S. Postal Service, with nearly a million hats distributed so far.

The company has also created many jobs after the closure of an oil company in the area.

Mahfouz says, "we've been able to provide jobs for those who have lost their jobs in the oil field."

Distributing the gear did not come easy for Mahfouz since she had to travel to New York and make the pitch in person.

"He's a great person, he's really down to earth. I was not nervous at all, but I figured I might have been. He was very straight forward and asked how quickly could we get this done. I said give me a week and that's all it took," she said.

Ace Specialty workers say they expect to busy for the next four years.
