Families came out to the Monroe Civic Center and kids competed in races and played other fun games as well. There was also music, face painting and even a bounce house.

A few kids and parents even won some door prizes as well.

Branch specialist Lashanda Hall says it's all about having a good time with the family.

"We just want to remind kids, 'Hey, it's okay to go out, be active, be involved, just get out and have a good time,” Hall says. “What better way than riding your bike? Something everybody can do every day. Whether it be with your family or friends, some of my fondest memories are riding home from school, grabbing my bike and hitting the neighborhood."

Every kid that participated received a medal of completion.
