Ken Booth remembers the late President George H.W. Bush

MONROE, La (KNOE) Former KNOE reporter Ken Booth remembers covering former President George H.W. Bush.

Booth traveled the globe with five presidents as part of the White House Press Corps. Booth first met the elder Bush when he was Vice President under Ronald Reagan. But he also traveled with the 41st President on a trip through the Pacific Rim in 1992.

"Strength and dignity I think are two of the most outstanding characteristics he had," said Booth, former KNOE investigative reporter. "That along with quiet authority."

Booth worked at KNOE for 25 years and won numerous awards for his reporting. He is retired now and living in Yuma, Arizona.
