MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Isolated showers are possible Sunday afternoon, but the better chance comes on Monday afternoon as a weak cold front approaches the area.
This front will dissipate to our north though, so we won't be cooling down any time soon.
We're looking at another warm week with highs around 5 to 7 degrees above average.
We haven't had high temperatures below average since the beginning of April, and it doesn't look like they'll dip back below average for a bit!
Temperatures will soar to the lower 90s every day, with dew points likely hovering between 69 and 71 making it feel quite uncomfortable outside.
Heat indices will be close to 100 degrees every day, although we do have a slight rain chance in the forecast for Tuesday through Sunday which could help us cool down a bit.
