Every other Wednesday on Good Morning ArkLaMiss Chef Darrell Teats joins us in the kitchen to cook some of his delicious dishes.

Wednesday morning, he showed us how to cook a delicious blackened catfish fillet. Below are the ingredients.

4-Catfish fillets

Blackening Seasoning

2 Tbsp. yellow mustard

¼ cup butter

1 Tbsp. flour

¼ cup butter

8 oz. cream cheese (soften)

½ bunch parsley (chopped)

½ onion (chopped)

½ bell pepper (chopped)

1 ½ cup mushrooms (sliced)

Seasoning to taste

2 cups half-n=-half

Season catfish with seasoning and toss mustard to coat, place in heated (med/high heat) cast iron skillet. Cook on each side 4 to 5 minutes per side. Place on a plate and set aside.
