I-20 to drop to one lane for road repairs

For parts of the next two weeks, Interstate 20 between Monroe and West Monroe will drop to one lane.

From July 10th-13th going eastbound, and from July 17th-20th going westbound, I-20 will drop to one lane from the Texas Avenue exit to the LA-34 exit.

The repairs are for bridge deck and drain cleaning, and will take place from 7:00pm-6:00am.

DOTD is asking folks to use extra caution when driving on the roads during that time.
