MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Some clouds and showers Friday afternoon are winding down, but the warm weather looks to continue.
Highs will be in the low 90s through the weekend, with a few showers coming back by Sunday afternoon.
Dew points will also get into the upper 60s and low 70s during the weekend.
We'll have a slightly higher coverage of showers and thunderstorms on Monday as a weak cold front passes through the region, but then the southerly wind returns Tuesday and we'll have about a 10% coverage of showers and thunderstorms each day.
High temperatures will soar into the lower 90s throughout the forecast period, which is about 5 to 7 degrees above average.
With so much moisture in the air, expect the heat index to get near 100 degrees.
