CALDWELL PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Authorities say there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Caldwell Parish.
According to the Grayson Police Department, the confirmed case is in Grayson, Louisiana.
They say the person was exposed at an out-of-state job. They say the person took precautions to prevent the spread, is in good health, and is continuing to self-quarantine.
As of March 26, over two dozen cases have been confirmed in Northeast Louisiana. That includes 19 cases in Ouachita, 2 cases in Union, 1 case in Jackson, 1 case in LaSalle, 3 cases in Morehouse, 1 case in Winn, 3 cases in Lincoln, 1 case in Richland, 1 case in Madison, and 1 case in Catahoula.
Franklin Parish Medical Center says they've received confirmation that three people in Franklin Parish have tested positive. They were not at the medical center itself. These are not reflected in the state's numbers.
