Grambling to be featured in Coca-Cola ad

Grambling State University will soon be getting some national attention.
The school will be featured in a Coca-Cola commercial. The ad was set to air during the big game on Sunday, but officials say it's been pushed until later.
Coke is long-time partners with the university.
The theme of the commercial is tailgating and it features colleges from all across the country.
Grambling is the only historically black college featured in the ad.
People there say this is really big for the university.
"Free advertisement, free publicity for the school is never a bad thing," said Aaron Williams, a graduate student at GSU.
"To have Grambling State University, enrollment of a little school of 5000 here in the country hills of Grambling in commercials with schools that have enrollment of 30 40 thousand people that says something,” said Talmon Butler, Director of development in External Relations. “It's not about the size of the school, but it's the size of the standard of excellence that we have created here.”
GSU has been seen on NFL's big night before. The university was featured in a 1981 Coke commercial that showcased Grambling's World-Famed Tiger Marching Band.
It is not clear when the 2018 commercial will air.
