A former deputy with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's office has been arrested for the second time in a matter of months.
On Friday, Sept. 15th, Ouachita Parish Sheriff deputies responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Richardson Road in Calhoun. According to the affidavit, when deputies arrived on scene they came in contact with the suspect, Bradley Smith. Smith told deputies he and his girlfriend had been arguing.
Police reports say the victim told deputies Smith shoved her head into a bathroom wall multiple times. Officers also reported that the victim suffered swelling and bruising to the right side of her face.
Smith was arrested and is charged with one count of domestic abuse battery.
Back in May, Smith was charged with 3rd-degree rape.
