Dry Sunday then heavy rain Monday

(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - Good evening!

Tonight temperatures are expected to fall back to the upper 30's with increasing clouds. Tomorrow expect cloudy skies with showers late night.

An intense area of low pressure will develop Sunday night along a strong upper-level trough. Provided there is enough upper-level support, we could see a washout.

As the low passes off to the east, the winds will increase from the north. This will drag down some much colder air for the middle of the week. Current model trends suggest we could see our coldest air of the season.
