TALLULAH, La. (KNOE) - Update: 2/10/19 9:15pm
The water is back on in the City of Tallulah, after an issue caused a water outage Sunday evening.
Residents are still asked to boil their water before using it, and to use as little water as possible so they can build up the storage tank.
City Spokeswoman Yvonne Lewis says the boil advisory will last until the LA Department of Health clears their water samples, which could take up to 48 hours.
The City of Tallulah is experience an water outage.
In a statement, the city spokeswoman Yvonne Lewis said "water will be out for all of the evening of Sunday, February 10, 2019. The water outage will likely extend into the morning of Monday, February 11, 2019. Once water is re-established, all water customers will be under a BOIL WATER advisory until samples have been cleared by the State."
