MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Six parishes in northeast Louisiana are under a burn ban as of Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019.
Franklin Parish issued theirs on Tuesday.
Caldwell Parish announced their burn ban on Monday. The Lincoln Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness announced a burn ban for Lincoln Parish on Facebook Monday afternoon.
The other four burn bans were announced before Monday.
The following northeast Louisiana parishes are also under burn bans.

Private burning shall not be allowed while a burn ban is in effect. The offense could be punishable by a fine and/or jail time.
