(CNN) - The judge overseeing Britney Spears' conservatorship has ordered an investigation into the team managing the singer's affairs according to USA Today.
Spears postponed her Las Vegas residency in January saying she needed to tend to her father. Then in April, she reportedly checked into a mental health facility and checked herself out a few weeks later.
Spears posted an update on her Instagram account last month to assure her fans she was in good spirits.
"Hi guys!" the singer said in the video. "Just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me. All is well. My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately. So I just needed time to deal, but don't worry - I'll be back, very soon."
Apparently, that may not happen according to her longtime manager Larry Rudolph.
He told TMZ on Wednesday that Britney should not be going back to do the Vegas residency "not in the near future and possibly never again."
