MONROE,La. (KNOE)- Competitive fishermen made a big splash early Saturday morning for day two of the big bass fishing tournament.

Fishermen left the docks and patrolled the waters starting at 5:00am.

Fish will be weighed every hour, and whoever has the biggest fish will win $1,000. The person with the biggest overall fish will win $10,000. All proceeds go towards the Ronald McDonald House.

"It's the biggest fundraiser and the largest fundraiser we do all year and all the proceeds go to the house. That helps many, many families with sick children that are in the hospital, not only in our community here in Ouachita Parish but all throughout southern Arkansas and north Louisiana," said Ronald McDonald House Board President James Breaux.

People can sign up for the Ronald McDonald challenge on Sunday for a chance to win $500.

Craig Kolb took home both the Ronald Mcdonald and the $10,000 grand prize.
