Baton Rouge man accused of selling heroin out of his restaurant

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man has been arrested after narcotics agents with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office reportedly seized a pound of heroin and almost $9,000 in cash from the man’s home.

EBRSO says the man, identified as Ferry Williams Jr., 34, was selling heroin out of his restaurant, Old Hammond Café, on Old Hammond Highway. The search was the result of several weeks of investigation.

Williams is charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin and was booked into parish prison.
