MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Louisiana State Police and the FBI are asking for help tracking down two people accused of robbing banks in Epps and Cotton Valley.
They say the first robbery happened at the Guaranty Bank in Epps on Friday, November 10, 2017, at approximately 10:25 am. Two people armed with a handgun demanded money and got it. Authorities say one appeared to be male and the other female.
Investigators say the other robbery happened at the Barksdale Federal Credit Union in Cotton Valley on Monday, November 27, 2017, around 2:00 pm. In this incident, the two suspects had handguns, according to police. They say this robbery also appears to have been carried out by a male and a female.
Police note that both robberies happened near the Arkansas state line. They think the robberies are connected. Anyone with information is asked to call the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations at 318-741-2723 or the FBI’s Shreveport field office at 318-861-1890.
A reward is being offered for their capture.
