(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - Good morning everyone I am Dylan Robichaud. Once again today we will start off the day with close to record low temperatures across the region. Currently, wind chill values are in the single digits for some locations. The cold air is in response to strong high pressure to our north which is allowing cold arctic air to move in. The ridge will eventually move away by the end of the week allowing our winds to switch to a more southerly direction. This will lead to a warmup and much more pleasant weather by the weekend. Our next chance for rain isn't until next Sunday and Monday of next week when we are watching a potential storm system.
