Break-in at a Monroe AT&T store

A Monroe At&T store was burglarized this weekend.

Workers say burglars smashed the glass door of the store near Pecanland Mall around 3:30 on Saturday morning.

They believe thieves were looking for the new iPhone 8, which came out recently. They say all the phones are stored in a 3,000 lb. safe.

They say the alarm system brought Monroe Police to the scene in minutes.

The store says they're investigating the surveillance videos.
