9-year-old North Louisiana weightlifter is breaking records
A 9-year-old boy in Louisiana can deadlift 230 pounds and is breaking records for his weight class.
That's just one of third-grader Tate Fegley's feats of strength. He can also bench press 92 pounds and squat 190 pounds.
He works out every morning with his trainer.
"He works ridiculously hard and it's very motivating to see," his trainer said.
He's reportedly broken multiple records in his weight class, including three in one day. For Fegley, it's less about awards and more about his love for the sport.
"I just love just watching them work out and lifting the weights," he said.
This summer, the small wonder will head to Florida to try for a national title.
