4 arrested in Farmerville home invasion

FARMERVILLE, La. (KNOE) - Authorities in Farmerville say four people have been arrested in connection with a home invasion.

According to Farmerville PD, the home invasion happened Friday night on Rabun Road. They say two suspects entered a home and beat the homeowner with a weapon before taking him outside and robbing him.

Two of the suspects, 27-year-old Raven Williams and 33-year-old Arthur Newton, were arrested Saturday morning. Williams was charged with criminal conspiracy (to commit armed robbery) and accessory after the fact. Newton was charged with home invasion and armed robbery.

On Saturday night, warrants were issued for the arrests of 49-year-old Dorthea Jones and 31-year-old Jonathan Davis. They were arrested Sunday morning at a home on Cedar Street. Authorities say they also found drugs and guns inside the home. Jones was charged with principal to armed robbery.

Jonathan Davis was charged with armed robbery, attempted second-degree murder, home invasion, possession of schedule I narcotics with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II narcotics, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of felonies. Police say Davis' extensive criminal history includes charges of aggravated robbery and rape.

The victim in the home invasion was hospitalized with serious injuries.
