Creator and founder of Hair-Los, Aisha Clark, is shining light on cancer patients in her 5th Annual Hair-Los from the Heart event.

Clark says the inspiration behind this event all started when Clark was in her beauty shop and noticed one of her clients, who was a cancer patient, brought in a wig that wasn't styled suitably for her.

From that day, it inspired Clark to create a brunch event for cancer survivors to feel beautiful and pampered by treating them with professional hair and beauty consultation.

The 5th annual event is set for December 14, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center in the Richland room.

The event will include a brunch, nail and eyelash bar, facials, makeovers, and your very own Hair-Los wig styled and placed by hairstylist Danielle Henry.

The event is free with limited space for 50-65 cancer survivors and one guest per survivor.
