Tyler is a 2016 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and is excited to be working in the city of his alma mater.
Covering stories on campus and meeting people from different parts of the state have helped him become familiar with the area. He hopes that will make his job fun since he hates asking Siri for directions.
Tyler grew up in Dallas, Texas, but he's no stranger to the Bayou State. His mother is a native of Arcadia, La., where he spent most of his summers with family.
Tyler looks forward to covering stories that are important to Northeast Louisiana and invites people to share their story or ideas with him.
