Jessica Torricelli

Jessica Torricelli anchors Good Morning ArkLaMiss and KNOE 8 News at Noon. She also reports and has covered The St. Francis Foundation's 2 Cars 2 Winners Raffle.

Jessica is excited to be a part of the KNOE team! She’s a 2018 graduate from Syracuse University. Go ‘Cuse! She earned two degrees in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and Earth Science. She minored in Geography and Fashion Communications.

She's originally from Fort Myers, Florida, where she spent much of her younger years competing in pageants and volunteering at Dress For Success. She’s a vegetarian and loves anything with cheese.

Being a Florida native, she loves all things nature and being outdoors. She once lived on a canoe for 5 days in the Everglades as part of a high school field trip.

Jessica has a soft spot for cats and adopted her cat Hazel when she moved to Monroe in 2018. Follow any of her social media accounts and you'll see plenty of cat pictures.

During college, she worked at the campus TV station CitrusTV and the top 40s radio station WJPZ. She was part of a comedy club and a tour guide. She’s an alum of Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity. Theatre’s always been a big part of her life, so in college, she costume-designed for the group First Year Players.

She interned at WSYR and WBBH in college.

While working for KNOE, she covered President Donald Trump's visit to Monroe, multiple severe weather events, and countless stories highlighting the wonderful people of NELA. She also put together an anniversary special of the EF-3 tornado that went through Ruston in 2019.

She loves telling stories about people and really making a difference. Feel free to reach out to her on Facebook, Twitter, or through email!
