Jasmine Anderson anchors Good Morning ArkLaMiss and is KNOE's Investigative Reporter.
Jasmine Anderson is a leader, believer and achiever. She developed a love for storytelling at an early age, writes poetry, is a trained broadcaster and public speaker. She loves to learn and has an affinity for writing and reading.
Her love for people makes volunteering a joy. Reading to children is particularly special to her because it sparks imagination and a thirst for education. She is the granddaughter of an educator and minister, daughter of a nurse and medical professional and believes the best facets of her ancestors is the foundation upon which she stands today.
The multi-faceted journalist and AP-award winning broadcaster has covered stories in the south for a decade. She has interviewed everyone from children to Presidential candidates. She's had the honor of emceeing pageants, participating in panels about public speaking and social media strategies, judging talent competitions and welcomes opportunities to host future events!
She was recently promoted to Good Morning ArkLaMiss co-anchor and enjoys informing, entertaining and encouraging people who tune in. She is a longtime member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Black Journalists, Investigative Reporters and Editors and the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
