Shannon joined the WSAZ team in October 2020. He has been working in local news since 2018.
Shannon grew up in Lima, Peru, before moving to the Tri-State in 2007.
Shannon is a graduate of Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School in Ironton (2014), and a graduate of The Ohio State University (2018).
It was while at Ohio State that Shannon discovered his passion for broadcast journalism.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and watching stand-up comedy

A man in West Virginia died after an excavator fell with him inside and landed in a river, where he is believed to have drowned.
