MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Residents in Waterproof and south Tensas Parish are still without water service Friday after the repair of a large water leak failed to hold Thursday night.
The Tensas Water Distribution Association website states repairs are underway.
A water buffalo has been stationed outside the Waterproof mayor’s office. Free bottled water is available at the Mayflower and Loamland fire stations.
There’s no word yet how long repairs will take.
A boil advisory is in effect for listed in the company’s alert, which you can see here.
