BASTROP, La. (KNOE) - The investigation into a missing Bastrop woman continues. Bastrop police said they’re taking three items found inside Tabitha Queen’s car to North Louisiana Crime Lab in Shreveport on Monday, June, 14.

Detective DeWayne Reed said they are also taking DNA swabs from Queen’s car and a gun found in Dotson Park. Police said they don’t think the gun is involved in her case but they won’t know without checking.

They say they’ll re-interview four to five people but they don’t have any suspects at this time.

Officials from the North LA Crime Lab said it can take an average of 127 days to get evidence back, depending on the case.

Queen was last seen on May 10, 2021, at a supermarket in Bastrop.
