Contestants will take the stage in Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen this weekend
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Contestants have been waiting to take the stage in Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen competition since 2019. Don Humble, the Teen Committee Chairman for the Miss Louisiana Organization, says they couldn’t have the pageant last year with COVID-19, so they’re looking forward to this year.
The pageant signifies a little bit of a return to normalcy, but Humble did say they needed to move the competition from ULM to the Civic Center this year due to the pandemic.
Humble says Friday, June 11 contestants will start off with interviews, then Saturday, June 12 they’ll take the stage at 6 p.m. in preliminary competitions (Talent, Physical Fitness, Evening Gown, and On-Stage Question). Sunday, June 13 is the finale kicking off at 2 p.m. Events will happen at Monroe Civic Center’s WL “Jack” Howard Theater.
You can meet the contestants here.
Ticketmaster is selling tickets for the event, or you can buy them at the Civic Center’s Box Office an hour before the show.
