Louisiana’s Coastal Conservation Association holding banquet May 11, 2021

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Monroe Chapter of Louisiana’s Coastal Conservation Association will be holding their banquet on May 11th at 5:30 p.m. It’ll be at the Monroe Civic Center’s Conference Hall.

Tim Kane joined us in the studio to talk about the event, which will have auction items for sale. You can browse items ahead of time on their website.

“CCA Louisiana is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Louisiana’s marine resources. Founded in 1983, CCA Louisiana (then GCCA) has been instrumental in banning gill nets in state waters, establishing redfish as a gamefish and ensuring good stewardship of Louisiana’s coastal resources,” according to their website.

Tickets for the Monroe banquet are $75 per person, $600 for a table of 8, and $1,200 for a VIP table.
