(KNOE/AP) - A new AP-NORC poll finds about 6 in 10 Americans say they approve of the way President Biden is handling his job as president. Democrats are more likely than Republicans to say so. Biden’s overall approval rating for January was 61%. In February, it was 60%. The latest numbers from March have him back at 61%.

Biden has widespread approval from Democrats: 96%.

On the Republican side, it’s not quite as one-sided. He has the approval of 22% of Republicans surveyed.

The following chart breaks down the president’s approval by the issues. Biden’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, health care, and the economy get high marks. His problem areas appear to be immigration and the border crisis.
