Police: Teen arrested after rescue from school ceiling
NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a Mississippi teenager who called 911 to report that he was stuck in the ceiling of an elementary school was arrested after being rescued by police and firefighters.
The Natchez Democrat reports that 19-year-old Willie Dobbins of Hattiesburg telephoned dispatchers Sunday night to tell them he was suspended from inside the cafeteria ceiling at Frazier Elementary School.
The police chief says the teen appeared to be trying to break in through the roof where money is kept and got stuck. Dobbins was being held in the Adams County Jail on Monday, but the charge wasn’t immediately available.
