PANOLA COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) - According to a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 2, a missing Mississippi woman was found safe, according to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 6:10 a.m., Panola County Sheriff’s Office officials say the Nacogdoches Police Department reported that Wallace had entered a convenience store and the clerk recognized her. The clerk spoke to Wallace about the situation and called the police. As officers were responding, Wallace walked into the police station and told officials she was the missing person everyone was looking for, according to a Facebook post.

Police say she appeared to be in good condition. Nacogdoches officers interviewed Wallace about her disappearance and determined it was voluntary. The Southaven Police Department and Wallace’s family have been notified that she was found.

Below is information regarding Wallace’s discovery on March 2:

Rachael Ann Wallace, 32, of Southaven, Mississippi, was reported missing Feb. 26. According to reports, her SUV was found abandoned the next day in Carthage. Inside the vehicle were her phone and personal belongings.

The Facebook post did not give details on her discovery. However, PCSO says they will provide more information later.

Wallace was spotted on surveillance cameras at a Walmart in Longview on Feb. 26. According to family members, her phone last pinged in Shreveport, La. on the night of Feb. 26.

She was then spotted at another Walmart, this time in Carthage, Texas, on the morning of Feb. 27, then again at a Quality Inn in Carthage around noon on Feb. 27.
