MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Mid-February’s rare and prolonged Louisiana snowfall lent itself to plenty of opportunities for great photos. And it appears ArkLaMiss residents certainly took advantage! -- KNOE viewers sent in over two-thousand winter storm-related photos over the last few days!

Pets and wildlife were popular subjects for many of these photos. In fact, we’ve counted over 200 such photos among your submissions! We had plenty of excited dogs, of course! (Who doesn’t love an excited dog, right?) Some cats, squirrels, and even some horses! And, if you haven’t seen them on our Facebook page yet, some people sent in some beautiful shots of birds framed by the snow!

So, for all the animal lovers out there, here’s a gallery devoted solely to pets and wildlife. (And it’s not too late to submit your own!)
