Church in Ruston opens cold weather shelter for Feb. 18

RUSTON, La. (KNOE) -The mayor of Ruston says a church has opened a warming station for those in need during the winter storm.
The shelter is located at Trinity United Methodist Church at 1000 Woodward Ave. in Ruston.
The warming station is open for anyone who needs a warm place to get out of the cold. There are chairs and some blankets available.
Those running the shelter are asking people to enter the gymnasium between the main building and the Trinity Center. The shelter currently does not have meals available.
