Man accused of sexual assault in Natchez

NATCHEZ MISS. (KNOE) - Authorities have arrested a man accused of sexual assault in Natchez.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, on Dec. 26, 2020, they took a report from a woman who told them that a man tried to rape her while they were alone on Christmas day.
The man was identified as 67-year-old Leon Wesley.
Deputies say that an investigation led to probable cause to charge and arrest Wesley on Dec. 28, 2020.
The investigation is ongoing.
