La. State Police investigating fatal 18-wheeler crash on I-20

BIENVILLE PARISH, La (KNOE) - Authorities say the driver of an 18-wheeler is dead after a crash on Interstate 20. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2020.

According to the Louisiana State Police, the incident happened at mile marker 55, 10 miles west of Arcadia.

LSP says an 18-wheeler carrying gasoline overturned on I-20. They say the gasoline spilled, and the crash sparked a fire. The driver of the 18-wheeler died.

State police are asking drivers to take Highway 80 if you are heading west. You can expect delays on Highway 80.
