Salvation Army teams up with Skyjack suspension
MONROE, La. (KNOE) -The Salvation Army has teamed up with a local company for the red kettle campaign. Tuesday Skyjacker Suspension of West Monroe gave the Salvation Army a check to help those in need.
They also allowed the Salvation Army to set up a large inflatable red kettle in front of their building to raise awareness for their red kettle campaign.
The campaign is the biggest fundraiser for the Salvation Army and Captain Jerry Casey says this time of year the need to give and be there for others hits especially hard.
“We have expanded our finances pretty much to our limit which is why this red kettle campaign is so important this year” he said.
Mallory Pike with Skyjacker Suspension says they are looking forward to the partnership.
“We have a great location right here off the interstate, it’s a great way to remind people to get out and donate.”
If you want to get involved with the Salvation Army contact Captain Casey at (318) 325-1755 or stop by their building at 105 Hart Street.
