Winnfield, West Monroe, Ouachita HS cancel regular football season due to COVID-19
UPDATE: Winnfield has suspended all school events, including the remaining of the football regular season, according to Aaron Dietrich.

UPDATE: West Monroe has also canceled the last two weeks of the regular season, school officials tell Aaron Dietrich.

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The regular season for the Ouachita Lions has come to an early end.
The school has canceled the rest of its season due to COVID-19-related issues. They had no game scheduled for this week and have canceled their game against Pineville next week.
As for the postseason, the school will wait to see how things unfold.
Ouachita played West Monroe last Friday. Sources tell KNOE that the Rebels are waiting for more Ouachita tests to see how they proceed.
West Monroe is scheduled to host Pineville this week and travel to Ruston next week.
