MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Delta caused widespread outages across Louisiana when it hit overnight on Saturday. Entergy has worked to restore power to those customers after the storm.

As of 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, Entergy reported about 31,000 customers (i.e. homes, businesses, buildings) remain without power statewide in the wake of Hurricane Delta.

An estimated 3,000+ of those outages are in Northeast Louisiana. At one point on Saturday, Ouachita Parish alone had over 30,000 outages.

Only two NELA parishes have more than 100 remaining outages as of Tuesday morning:

  • Ouachita: 1,791
  • Morehouse: 1,297

All other NELA parishes have fewer than 100 outages remaining.
