House fire claims life of 79-year-old in West Carroll Parish

OAK GROVE, La. (KNOE) - Authorities are investigating a house fire in Oak Grove that left one man dead.
According to the State Fire Marshal, the Kilbourne Fire Department responded to the 3300 block of Arkla Road. on Aug. 25, 2020, just after 6:15 a.m.
They say the body of the 79-year-old male homeowner was found inside the home. The elderly wife of the owner was able to escape with minor burns and cuts.
More information will be released as the investigation continues.
