OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Authorities have arrested a Bastrop man in connection with a fatal crash that happened in Ouachita Parish back in January.

Wednesday, Louisiana State Police arrested Glen Minor on several charges stemming from a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Hwy 165, which claimed the life of Darrica Davis, of Monroe.

Police say on the night of January 30, Minor’s vehicle was headed south on U.S. Hwy 165 when he disregarded the traffic control signal at an intersection and hit Davis’ vehicle as she was trying to make a turn onto LA Hwy 2.

Davis’ vehicle overturned and burst into flames, police said. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Minor was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on charges of vehicular homicide, third-degree feticide, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, possession with the intent to distribute a schedule II drug, and possession of marijuana.
