OPSO: Suspect accused of cruelty to juveniles arrested
Update: Johnson has been arrested.
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Monroe Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man accused of cruelty to juveniles.
According to arrest records, police were called to Murray Place Apartments in reference to cruelty to juveniles complaints.
Investigators say when they arrived, they located a 16-year-old female victim crying with obvious injuries on her face.
The victim told police she and her brother, 20-year-old Graylin Johnson III, were arguing about a game when he slapped her and left the apartment.
Johnson allegedly returned to the apartment a short time later and struck her multiple times in the face with a closed fist.
Johnson is described as 5′7″ tall, weighs approximately 175 lbs., and is known to drive a silver Nissan Rogue.
