Oak Grove City Council approves town’s first alcohol license of the 21st Century
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Oak Grove City Council approved the town’s first alcohol license of the 21st century in a council meeting on Tuesday night, according to Mayor Adam Holland.
He said Oak Grove had been dry for more than 40 years until that changed last October.
Holland said City Council approved the license for Mike Jones of Oak Grove Package Liquor. According to Holland, Jones said he planned to open August 1st at the meeting.
