Arrest made in Franklin Parish murder case
FRANKLIN PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a murder case from late June.
According to the Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office, Nicholes Trey Glass, 33, is accused of one count of second-degree murder in the death of Michelle Houston, 50. The victim was found dead at a home on La. Hwy. 578 in the Ward III community on June 30, 2020.
Glass was arrested and booked into the Franklin Parish Detention Center on July 9. Shortly after booking, authorities say, Glass made a suicide attempt. Authorities say he was taken to a medical center where he is receiving treatment.
Bond was set at $1 million.
The investigation is ongoing.
