La. rapper Hurricane Chris out on bond following Friday’s deadly shooting
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - UPDATE: According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Dooley is out on bond as of Sunday, June 21.
A Louisiana rapper was arrested following a deadly shooting Friday morning in Shreveport. The incident happened around 1 a.m. at Texaco, in the 2600 block of Hollywood Avenue.
Officers arrived to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
The suspect, Christopher Dooley, 31, also known as Hurricane Chris, of the 1200 block of Commerce Street, made claims of self-defense after an alleged struggle over his vehicle.

It was reported stolen out of Texas.
Following interviews with investigators, Dooley was charged with (1) count of Second Degree Murder and (1) count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.
