WEST MONROE (KNOE 8 News) - West Monroe police need your help solving a burglary at a fast food restaurant. As investigators search for clues, perhaps you can help and receive a cash reward. Here is this week's Crime Stoppers.

This weeks crime of the week is the investigation of an armed robbery that happened August 22nd, at Captain D's On Thomas Road in West Monroe.

At about 11:50 pm, an employee was closing up, when two black males entered the restaurant through a backdoor.

The employee was ordered to empty his pockets at gunpoint, and to take the robbers to the store's safe.

The robbers took two bank deposit bags and things from the employee's pockets.

The two suspects forced the employee into a freezer and ran away.

The suspects were described as two black males, one 6-feet to six foot two. Tall and light skinned.

The other is between 5-6 and 5-10, dark skinned and wearing a black baseball hat.

Both suspects wore a blue bandana to cover their face.

"I'm Detective Jeff Gilbert, Monroe Police, Crime Stoppers of Ouachita. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $2000 cash reward for information that leads to the arrest or grand jury indictment of those responsible for this crime, or any felony crime that occurs in Ouachita Parish.
