EAU CLAIRE, WI, September 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since the company's inception 19 years ago, Realityworks, Inc. has had a vision of reducing unplanned and unwanted pregnancies, improving child health and reducing child abuse through the integration of their infant simulators and other experiential learning products. With the recent purchase of over 900 RealCare products, Toluca, Mexico-based Sucisa, S.A. De C.V., is helping achieve that goal in Latin America.

Sucisa has been distributing Realityworks' Total Parenting Experience package since June 2002. The company has been using the package in Mexico to educate expecting parents and youth about infant care skills and child abuse prevention, and as a tool to prevent teen pregnancy. According to a recent study done by Swedish doctor and researcher Hans Rosling, and figures from the World Bank's World Development Indicators, Mexico has reduced its teen pregnancy rate at a faster pace in the last decade than other comparable countries.

"We are happy to be a partner with Sucisa to make a difference in students' lives in Mexico," stated Timm Boettcher, President of Realityworks. "Our trusted relationship with Sucisa enables our products to have a greater reach and affect many more lives." With simulators in 62 percent of U.S. schools, Realityworks has reached over six million students.

Since that partnership began, Sucisa has purchased and distributed over 7,900 RealCare products, including 4,500 of Realityworks' flagship product, the award-winning RealCare Baby infant simulator. Their most recent order, placed earlier this month, included 600 infant simulators, 275 RealCare Pregnancy Profile Simulations and 55 Health Trio packages, which feature RealCare Drug-Affected Baby, RealCare Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Baby and RealCare Shaken Baby. These tools are all used in educational and non-educational settings to raise awareness of teen pregnancy, teach childcare career skills, prevent child abuse and address the consequences of actions taken during pregnancy.
